Meet the Editor
ACM founders Letty Fox and Rianna Macdougall have been part of Australia's cheerleading community for more than seven years. Their partnership began in 2007 when they met in Melbourne to discuss the concept of a cheerleading magazine in Australia while co-raising a successful competitive cheerleading squad at RMIT University. While Letty no longers works on the magazine, focussing instead on her study and finance career, the founders still work closely together in managing Melbourne-based Wildfire Cheerleading.
Rianna is an acomplished athlete with experience in competitive and professional cheerleading, coaching and choreography. She has a masters degree in Organisational Communication and a degree in Science majoring in communication. She works as a freelance journalist, photographer and public affairs officer and now has a young family. Rianna has cheered profesionally and competitively on several squads throughout Australia, she founded Army Cheerleading, co-founded RMIT Redbacks with Letty and currently runs Sirens Cheerleaders in Townsville, Canberra and Brisbane, as well as Wildfire Cheerleading in Melbourne. She competed with the first amalgamated Team Australia at the World Cheerleading Championships in 2010.
Through Australian Cheerleader Magazine, Rianna hopes to unite Australia's cheerleading community and represent cheerleaders as the enthusiastic and professional athletes they are.
